An unconventional wedding card......

What an unusual wedding card, but my friends loved it..

I made this card for a couple of friends that got married in Las Vegas.

I made the base card from black spotty cardstock, I created this into a stepper card to create dimension.

I cut the background for the Las Vegas sign with an X-cut ornate frame die. I then used the memory box cloud die to create a template to create the clouds in the background. I used sky blue ink to do this.  I then painstakingly cut out the Vegas sign a few times to create a decoupage effect.

I coloured everything with Promarkers.

Gems were used to give lots of ‘bling’ and lots of feathers.

Lili of the Valley wedding day sentiment was used along with a few other embellishments.

Hope you like it……

Thank you Teacher

My daughters year 1 teacher was leaving the school at the end of the summer term and wanted to make a clean and simple card that was special with the school colours. This is what I came up with. I was really, really pleased with the results.

I hope you like my card, I am also entering this card into the CAS challenge Week 61 Silhouette http://casology.blogspot.ca/2013/09/week-61-silhouette.html.

My 1st CAS entry....

I have been admiring the CAS blog for sometime and really love the clean and simple designs. I don’t usually do really clean and simple but thought I’d give it a go and I’m happy with the results.

I hope you like my card too. I am entering this card into the CAS challenge Week 61 Silhouette http://casology.blogspot.ca/2013/09/week-61-silhouette.html.
